Slip and Fall
Mark Lindley is about to have a collision with fate. He’s trying to avoid his old high school English teacher in the grocery store by taking the fastest route out. When he crashes into Robert Gaffney it’s not only a shock, it’s a mess. The hottie he met over spilled spaghetti sauce and lube in aisle eight is going to test one of Mark’s unbreakable rules: never date a doctor. But Mark is about to learn that life can be just as chaotic as head-on collisions, and rules are meant to be bent…and then broken.
Dr. Robert Gaffney isn’t prepared for Mark either. He’s just trying to survive the insanity of his residency, and he doesn’t quite know what to make of Mark’s "non-dating" policy or the way Mark is turning Rob’s nice, orderly life upside down. Soon, though, Rob wants more than Mark is willing to give, and it’s not entirely clear whether either of them are smart enough to slip–and fall–into love.

Holding onto Summer
School is out and high school teacher Tim Mercer is ready to enjoy his first summer free of work and responsibility after helping to raise his brother and sister. When they surprise him with a packed suitcase, a one way plane ticket, and keys to a house on Hilton Head Island, the message is clear: it’s finally time for Tim to have some fun, maybe even finish that novel he’s been working on. Everything is going great until he meets his house mate for the summer, Kevin Wright, a drunk who apparently likes to brawl.
Paramedic Kevin is having a bad week: his mother is demanding a visit, he’s stuck on nights while the flu is going around at work, and he gets a fist to the face and a beer bottle to the back of the head while on a call. He doesn’t think it can get much worse, not until the new summer tenant shows up. After hearing the new guy, Tim, talk to people who aren’t really there, Kevin soon realizes Tim is completely crazy and decides to leave him–and his imaginary friends–alone. But avoiding each other may not be possible for Tim and Kevin, and it’s not long before they realize that sometimes you have to get everything wrong before you can get something completely right.
